Hi Coriander, Coriander, the soul of Taiwanese snacks, does anyone regret not having met earlier?今天(2/24)第一次知道有所謂的 #國際討厭香菜日。據說,這個節日是源於2020年臉書中澳洲的一個社群,“我討厭香菜” (I Hate Coriander @ihatecoriander),在2月24日的一則發文。有另一說是2017年,但我未找到原始資料[1]。Today (2/24) I learned for the first time that there is a so-called #InternationalIHateCorianderDay. The festival is said to have originated from an Australian community on Facebook, "I Hate Coriander" ( @ihatecoriander) a post on February 24, 2020. Another says that it is 2017, but I can't find the source [1].

香菜(學名:芫荽)屬於芹菜科,是人類已知的最古老的烹飪藥草之一。植物的所有部分(葉子、莖、種子和根)都可以食用並用於生產具有令人愉悅的檸檬味的流行香料的營養不僅可以幫助對抗 COVID-19 大流行[2],而且種子提取物亦可對抗金黃色葡萄球菌(一種導致 COVID-19 菌血症的肺炎細菌),作為洗手液凝膠的原料[3]。 | The nutrition of Coriander (scientific name: Coriandrum Sativum) belongs to the celery family and is one of the oldest culinary herbs known to man. 抗糖尿病活性 Anti-diabetic activity | 將芫荽摻入飲食(62.5 g kg -1)和飲用水(2.5 g L -1,通過15分鐘的煎劑製備)可降低鏈脲佐菌素糖尿病小鼠的高血糖。提取物的存在進一步增強了超極化 B 細胞(16.7 mm-葡萄糖,25 mm-KCl)的胰島素分泌。 Coriander incorporated into the diet (62.5 g kg−1) and drinking water (2.5 g L−1, prepared by 15 min decoction) reduced hyperglycaemia of streptozotocin-diabetic mice. Insulin secretion by hyperpolarized B-cells (16.7 mm-glucose, 25 mm-KCl) was further enhanced by the presence of extract. |
